The Tachyon XC as an underwater rescue tool.

If you own a Tachyon XC or know anything about our Helmet Camera (that has become known across the globe as the toughest cam on the market), you know that it is waterproof.  One of the incredible features of the XC is that it is a self contained waterproof unit, it doesn’t need an external case to keep it safe from the elements.  We have made some great friends across the world in the last 9 months (we have sold the XC to people in over 120 countries), friends in the military, friends on police or security forces, amateur and professional athletes, and fire fighters.  There is one Dept. in particular that we have become very fond of, the Isles of Capri Fire and Rescue team.

I think we are on the phone on a weekly basis with their crew, telling stories, hearing stories and laughing our #@$’s off.  Here at Tachyon we support those who support and keep us safe by putting their lives on the line every day, the Isles of Capri team is one that we support heavily.  Just recently they took a few Tachyon XC’s out on a routine dive and used it in some of their safety maneuvers and training.  In the midst of their training exercises they tested out the camera at different depths.  In the video below you will see that the camera operated beautifully at the depth of 47 feet.  Yes, that is correct, 47 feet….with incredible clarity, and sound.

Here is a Quote from the Chief about how the XC performed and how important it can be for those in the fire, police, security and military field.

“ You definitely produced a product that is durable, of tremendous quality and extremely practical for use in emergency services.  During field testing our dive team found the Tachyon XC performed beyond expectations.  It not only withstood exposure to harsh  environments, but went on to produce video of professional quality.

This camera is exactly what we needed in order to document and critique under water rescue missions.  I highly recommend any department performing dive rescue operations utilize the Tachyon XC to document incidents which can later be critiqued in an effort to improve safety, response, and most importantly save lives.”

Team Tachyon XC – Pro Rider – Rich Derousse

09-32-1640We want to introduce to you one of our Team Tachyon XC Riders, Rich Derousse out of Germany. Rich has raced everything from 125cc GP racers to full blown 1000cc unlimited machines. He’s also had the opportunity to race this variety of machinery in multiple countries to include the US, Japan, and the European Union!
Rich’s goal is to eventually become a “true” international rider by obtaining an FIM International A license. He was very close to achieving this goal in Japan, but work forced him to leave before he was able to collect the necessary standings in the MFJ.

09-32-2013

What inspires you to compete?
By nature I am a pretty passive guy. My day job is programming computers so not much excitement there. In order to make up for the lack of excitement in my job, I race. So that and the fact that I like to let others talk major smack in the pits and away from the track… just to make it all the more sweeter when I tuck it inside them going into a corner or just blasting past them on the exits. ; )

Describe your style…
I’d have to say my style is much like the Japanese martial arts or kata. Makes sense, I suppose, since I spent 5yrs training with Japan’s fastest riders while I lived there. They like to look at things like the martial arts. Every part of your body is connected to another. If one part moves, it moves or affects the other parts. They think the same thing applies when riding a motorcycle. The motorcycle becomes an extension of your body and all movements must flow and work together in a balanced fashion; which most often results in smooth and controlled riding styles. The only draw back is I never look as cool as those guys “backing it in” or getting “loose” in the corners.

How’s Life Treating You?
I’d have to say that life is treating me VERY well. Aside from those world-class riders, I don’t think there are many others who can say they’ve had the opportunity to race at most of the world’s most famous circuits.

Tachyon, Inc. opens its doors to International Resellers.

pop resellersLewisville, TX  June 1, 2009 -Tachyon, Inc. opens doors to International Resellers for the Tachyon XC Helmet Camera.

We at Tachyon, Inc., have created the best helmet camera in the world, and back it up with the best customer service in our industry.   Customer service, teamed with a world-class marketing strategy, has launched the Tachyon XC to the forefront of the helmet camera industry.  We have proven ourselves as a world-class brand by selling at a highly successful rate only through our website.  But along with this success, we have noticed some disadvantages that our international customers face when dealing with online purchases.  These include shipping time, customs delays, duty fees and other unforeseen issues.  Yet despite all of these hassles, a large percentage of our business comes from enthusiast’s outside of the USA.  And since Tachyon, Inc. prides itself as a company that goes to great lengths to please its customer base, we have decided to open our doors to international resellers.

This is why, at this time, Tachyon, Inc. is looking for existing retail shops or web retailers outside of the USA who are interested in reselling the Tachyon XC Helmet Camera.  www.tachyoninc.com/resellers.html

Tachyon, Inc. was established in November 2008 as a consumer electronics manufacturer in Lewisville, Texas.  In November of 2008, Tachyon Inc. released  the Tachyon XC helmet camera.  In a short span of seven months, the Tachyon XC has been sold and shipped to over 100 countries across the globe as well as building the reputation as the one of the top helmet cameras in the world.   The XC is the first Helmet Camera to use SDHC cards above 4GB, and is the only helmet camera in the world that can use up to a 32GB SDHC card.  The camera delivers up to 30 FPS of video, is shockproof and waterproof up to 28 feet, protecting the camera from adverse elements.  Its patented battery cartridge prevents the camera from shutting off in rough terrain.

Tachyon, Inc. boasts of its internationally sponsored athletes including the Subaru Rally Team Spain and other athletes from countries around the globe:  USA, Europe, Mexico, The Middle East and Japan.  Here are a few quotes from members of our Professional Team Tachyon XC:

“ I wrecked in France at 80 MPH on a wet track, the cam took a direct hit as I skid across 200 meters.  The XC functioned properly in my second race with no issues what-so-ever after the fall! ”  Rich DeRousse – Team Tachyon XC Pro Rider – Germany

“I put the Tachyon XC through a tail wind at 80 MPH and the Camera held strong the whole time with high pressure water pounding it.  ”  Brandon Kennedy – Team Tachyon XC Pro Driver – USA – (2008 Youngest Hall of Champions Inductee)

“ I’ve taken the XC through mud, dirt, and snow under difficult conditions and rough terrain.  Not once has the XC ever lost power, it truly is shockproof.”  Kyle Mullins – Team Tachyon Pro Rider- USA
