Over the last year we have talked to numerous paintballers and airsoft gurus who use the Tachyon XC. Everyone that we have talked to wondered if we would ever have something to protect the lens, well again we listened. We have created a lens protector that we call Tachyn XC Paintball Armor. This lens is designed to fit over the XC lens and protect it from direct contact, the Armor is not designed to be a fail safe guard from direct hits to the lens, but it will absorb impact and hopefully not allow your lens to break. How do you get one? All you have to do when you order your Tachyon XC camera is write “Paintball Armor” in the “Remarks” section and we will send you two free pieces with your package. Here is the Karting footage edited in 3D, the 2D footage below is from the same shoot, same footage. That is the great thing about the 3D package, since the 3D setup requires two separate cameras, you can use one cameras footage for a 2D video. Go in with a friend and buy the 3D setup, then you each have a cam for your own activities and you can get together to film the pool sesh, the pipe, back country or track with the 3D set up. Remember with every 2010 Tachyon XC order we will send 3D glasses for you, this way you can still watch our 3D videos, even if you don’t have the 3D setup.

Tachyon XC makes Fox 4 news in Florida as the Isle of Capri Fire and Rescue Dive dive assists in Reef Clean Up off the Gulf of Mexico. With poor visibility the team helped extract 900lbs of debris from the reef in an effort to conserve and save marine life. There are a few clips of first person footage from the water all filmed with the 2009 Tachyon XC. I thought you motorcycle enthusiasts, bicycle riders and anyone else who takes cross country trips in a motorized or non-motorized vehicle would love to see the new 2010 Green Power Pack (also works with 2009 Tachyon XC model, not the girl but the camera). The bigger your SD card the more you can film, if you want to record really long trips bring a few SD cards or use the new time-lapse photo option (takes one photo every 1.5 seconds).
